We offer various guided tours in our exhibitions, on the former camp site and in the Falstad forest.
Our guide gives an overview of Falstad’s history in a 30–45 minutes presentation. On request, the guide can also accompany you in the Falstad forest.

Do you prefer to explore the site on your own?
Our digital experience takes you back in time and shows you the camp landscape as it looked at the Liberation in May 1945. Using specially developed XR technology and our iPad, you can wander around in a virtual reconstruction of SS Strafgefangenenlager Falstad. At different places in the digital landscape you will find witness testimonies and stories from 1941-1945. Texts are in Norwegian, English, Russian and German.
Tablets with the digital reconstruction can be borrowed from the reception desk.
