The Falstad Centre has developed several digital narratives and e-learning resources. These can be used to prepare for a visit to Falstad, or simply as a source of knowledge.
The website Grabowski is primarily addressed at students aged 13-19. Grabowski contains primary and secondary sources – historical documents, photographs and audio material – collected from a number of archives both in Norway and abroad. Each source provides another piece of the puzzle that in sum tells the story of the Jewish cantor Josef Grabowski, Falstad prisoner no. 424. A separate teachers’ guide is available for classroom use.
The website Stories of Soviet Prisoners of War in Norway was launched in 2012 in connection with a travelling exhibition on the same topic. This learning resource is primarily addressed at students aged 13-19. A separate teachers’ guide is available for classroom use.
Foreign War Graves in Norway is a register of foreign nationals buried in war graves in Norway during WWII. Still under construction, the register only lists information about citizens of the former Soviet Union so far (December 2015).
